Our faculty is a group of professional and talented choreographers and instructors dedicated to giving personal attention to each and every student. Our goal is to provide the students with quality dance education, proper technique, awareness to the importance of physical activity and most importantly confidence in themselves. This challenge of learning is provided in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Brooke Stoughton Hull
Miss Brooke Stoughton is the owner and director of JDSD. She is from Mansfield where she began her dance education at the age of three. Since then she has had intense training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern and acro. Brooke has won many awards during her dance career and was the first to hold all three titles of Little Miss Dance Ohio, Jr Miss Dance Ohio and Miss Dance Ohio. She holds a degree in early childhood education from the Ohio State University where she was a member of the Buckeye Dance Force. As a choreographer she has won numerous national titles as well as choreography awards. She has traveled the country teaching dance camps and doing choreography for many studios. Brooke has judged for multiple dance competitions and currently serves as a Judge for the Kids Artistic Revue National Dance Competition. Brooke enjoys running the studio with her husband Chris Hull. "It has always been a dream to share my passion of dance with dancers of all ages. I believe everyone should be given the opportunity to have their hearts touched by the art of dance." |

Tiffany Schlater
Tiffany Schlater currently resides in Delaware, Ohio with her husband Doug and daughter Tara. She has extensive training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theater and several styles of tap dancing including Broadway to Hoofing. Growing up as a competitive dancer, she won many Regional and National Titles and even performed and served as Dance Captain for the Ohio State University at age 16. Due to her accomplishments, Tiffany was nominated as a Who’s Who of American High School Students and at the age of 17 and received a full dance scholarship to the prestigious Gus Giordano Dance Center in Chicago, Illinois. She has performed at the Capital Building in Washington D.C., the Chicago Theater, in the promotional tour for the movie “TAP”, various industrials, charity events and on television. Tiffany has performed with Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Savion Glover, Lane Alexander, the late Gregory Hines and was an original member of the “ETC” Tap Company. She has also had the honor of studying under such greats as Gus Giordano, Debbie Allen, Henry LeTang, Sandman Simms, Jimmy Slyde, Derick Grant and the Emmy winning Jason Samuels Smith. After achieving her goals in Chicago, she returned to her hometown of Gahanna, Ohio to continue her passion. While teaching and choreographing for the Gahanna Lincoln High School Chorale, dance studios, conventions, pageants and parades, she has captured many top awards including the titles 2011 Teacher Of The Year & 2011 Elite Top Choreographer Of The Year on a National Level. She has been recognized by the Stanford Who’s Who Of America and the Ohio House of Representatives for her dedication to the Arts and is a member of the International Tap Association. Her students can be found on television, Broadway, movies and professional dance companies. Most recently, her choreography and JDSD students were featured in the New York City, Tap Extravaganza 2011. She continually elevates her own dance education by attending local and national workshops, including travels to New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Currently Tiffany proudly serves as an Adjudicator for the Kids Artistic Revue National Dance Competition and continues to travel the country as a Master Teacher and choreographer. Since joining JDSD, in 1998, she created the Elite program and is the Elite Company Director. Tiffany is committed to sharing her love of dance through mentoring, educating and teaching proper technique across the country. |

Jeffrey Clark
Jeffrey Clark has been a student at JDSD for over 12 years, an Assistant Instructor, a selected member of our Apprentice Program, an Elite Company member, and is now proud to serve on our faculty as a Dance Instructor. Not only has Jeffrey performed on our stage, but he has also been a featured member of The Chocolate Nutcracker, Giant Eagle Events, Holiday Marathon, Varsity Varieties, promotional videos for Kids Artistic Revue, and a performer in the New York City Tap Extravaganza 2011. He also continues to give back to the community by performing in benefit shows for the National Heart Association, Strides For Pride and JDSD’s Dancing For Life. Outside of the studio Jeffrey is a senior at Gahanna Lincoln High School, President of the Gahanna Youth Council & a Gahanna Linc Crew Ambassador. He continues to further his own dance education at JDSD and various workshops across the country such as the Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Monsters Of Hip Hop and KAR Convention’s to name a few. Due to Jeffrey’s dedication to the arts he has earned numerous scholarships, regional and national High Point Awards including the National Title, Mr. Dance America 2011. Jeffrey is very excited to start the newest part of his dance career here at JDSD. |

Betsy Collins
Miss Betsy is a new member of the Judy Dollenmayer family. Her dance experience includes four years performing on the OSU Buckeye Dance Force. After graduating from OSU in 2001 she was extremely fortunate to be a coach and choreographer for the Buckeye Dance Force. Miss Betsy also has a vast knowledge of national dance competitons as she was a judge for many Ameridance and COA competitions. Betsy is currently enjoying being a mother to her three year old daughter, Cameron. |

Tiah Cressy
Tiah began teaching in 1995 as an instructor for Judy Dollenmayer Studio of Dance. She specializes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Combo classes. Tiah has been studying the art of dance since the age of three. With her experience and training this allows her to share and teach her love of dance, proper technique, and the skills that the dancers can use for years to come. Tiah and her husband Jason have two children who take dance and gymnastics at the studio. |

Ticia Dillon
Over the past ten years, Ticia has been involved in various aspects of the dance industry as a choreographer, judge, and instructor. She is currently teaching lyrical, hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap and gymnastics with an emphasis on lyrical and hip hop. She has been a master teacher for Creative Dance Productions and a judge for various dance organizations as well as pageants. As a choreographer, her routines have won National Titles at Showcase and COA, and have received National and Regional high point awards at KAR, Dynamite and Hall of Fame Dance competitions. She has choreographed High School Musicals locally. As a dancer she was a 3 year member of the Buckeye Dance Force. At the Popovich Dance Center in Alliance, OH she studied a wide range of dance forms including Polynesian, International, belly dance and Tahitian. She was a member of the North East Ohio All Star Cheerleading team where she received a national championship. |

Susanna Kuppich
Susanna Kuppich has been dancing since the age of three. She has trained with many studios, including our very own. Throughout high school she participated in Saint Charles Preparatory School's Theatre Program both as an actress and co-choreographer, traveled with CSG's Grace Note's, and received numerous top dance awards with both her fellow Elite groups members and her younger sister Marshall, and for her many solos. Upon graduating in 2007 from Columbus School for Girls she went on to study Education and Dance at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. She is now attending The Ohio State University and majoring in The School of Allied Medical Professions in hopes to attend Optometry School in a few short quarters. |

Yulia Lukyanova
Yulia Lukyanova started her dance training at the tender age of six at the ballet studio in the Kaluga Concert Hall in Russia. She studied diligently there until the age of twelve. From twelve to sixteen Ms. Lukyanova attended the Kaluga Arts School studying a wide variety of arts including classical piano, french language, musical literacy and several forms of dance. Her grades were so impressive that she was soon offered a scholarship to the Kaluga Arts University. Soon after she began her professional career in the state company “Cossacks of Russia”. Shortly after she traveled to Germany to perform in “Sultans of the Dance”. Ms. Luyanova’s next endevour took her to Portugal where she performed at the Solverde Casinos with the Ondacruz Dance Company from 2005-2007. From 2007 to current day Ms. Lukyanova has been dancing with The Moscow Folk Ballet Company in “Riverdance the Show”. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio and is extremely looking forward to sharing her knowledge of dance and joy of stage performing to children and adults of all ages. | |
Emily Lykins
Emily Lykins has had a passion for dance since the age of 3, when she was enrolled in her first jazz class. She has danced competitively for 11 years at both state and national levels. Following high school, Emily went on to attend Ohio University where she was a member of the OU Dance Team for four years and captain for two years. This is where her desire for instructing and choreographing stems. Emily has had extensive training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and hip hop. Her focus in her professional dance career is modern and hip hop. She has great aspirations for her future in dance, and is looking forward to her time at JDSD. Emily is ecstatic about the opportunity to share her love and passion for dance with others and to serve as a positive influence on young individuals' lives! | |
Elisa Kurth
Elisa Kurth began teaching at JDSD in 2002, where she's led classes in ballet, hip-hop, tap, jazz and lyrical, which is her favorite. She specializes in acrobatic dance and gymnastics. After some time away from teaching, Elisa is thrilled to be back at JDSD this year. Elisa began her dance education at age three in Sandusky, Ohio, and spent fifteen years performing on the competition team at Linda Lee Dance Studio. She became a member and officer on Ohio State's Buckeye Dance Force, and earned a B.A. in Journalism and minor in Dance from The Ohio State University in 2004. Throughout her dance training in college and a year in Chicago where she studied at Lou Conte Dance Studio, she has dabbled in just about every style of dance. While not at the dance studio, she really enjoys watching So You Think You Can Dance. | |
Joe Moriarty
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Joe started traditional Irish dancing with the Richens-Timm Academy. Within a couple of years he was winning age-group titles at the US Midwestern Regional and US National Irish Dancing Championships. Joe progressed to competing at the World Championship level, consistently ranked in the top five. Joe joined Riverdance in 1997, at 16 years old, and was asked to train for the lead position shortly after. Joe is to date, the youngest make ever to be given this position, at eighteen years old. He is the second North American dancer to dance the lead role in the the show’s history. Joe has been touring with Riverdance for 12 years, and his career highlights include starring on Broadway, preforming in the People’s Hall of China and the Kremlin State Palace, as well as performances for the Empress of Japan and the President of Ireland. Joe is looking forward to taking on new endeavors in dancing and reshaping modern Irish dance. | |
Roni Petersen
Roni Petersen is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She has over 18 years of teaching experience in a wide area of dance styles.
She is currently coaching the Columbus Destroyers professional dance team "The Bombshells".
She was also a founding member of the Columbus Crewzers dance team (Columbus Crew-MLS), she served as captain, choreographer and Assistant Director. |

Sara Russell
Sara Russell is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with minor in Dance. Sara has been dancing since the age of five, studying tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop at the Judy Dollenmayer Studio of Dance. She was also captain of the Gahanna Lionettes Dance Team while attending Gahanna Lincoln High School. Sara enjoys working with children of all ages at the studio and continues to take pleasure in furthering her dance education and career at JDSD. |

Megan Smith
Megan Smith has been a student at JDSD for over 14 years. She was selected as a member of the JDSD Jr Elite Company at the age of 11, and at age 13, was the youngest member ever chosen to be in the Senior Elite Company. By age 16 she was also a teacher’s assistant, a part of the Apprentice Program, and the first to be invited as a member to all four Senior Elite Companies. While taking every class and genre possible, she continued as a student at JDSD and choreographed a dance for the Apprentices Program before she graduated. Due to her dedication, she has received many scholarships and National High Point Awards including title of 2011 Grand Champion while being a featured member in the dance piece "Army Of Rhythm". Megan is also a strong advocate for using her talent to help others. She has volunteered to perform for the National Heart Association, Strides For Pride, Relay For Life and was a featured dancer in the JDSD's own Dancing For Life. To her credit she has also performed in 42nd St, Varsity Varieties, Promotional videos for the Kids Artistic Revue, and most recently featured in the New York City Tap Extravaganza 2011. Always striving to be top in her field, she continues her dance education all over the country by attending national dance workshops such as The Pulse, Chicago Human Rhythm Project, and Company Dance to name a few. Megan is currently attending The Ohio State University and proud to be an instructor at JDSD. |

Corinne Wiseman
Corinne Wiseman has been not only a dancer, but a member of the Judy Dollenmayer studio of Dance since she was three years old. She has studied various forms of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop throughout her life and continues to study. She has had the extreme privilege to take tap classes from some of the best tap dancers in the world including Savion Glover, Sam Weber, and Lane Alexander. She currently does choreography for multiple grade school's and high school's musical theatre productions. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006 with a B.S. in Human Ecology. As well as working at the dance studio she is employed as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and caregiver. |
