Class Dress Attire
Below you will find the general dress and shoe requirements for the different classes at our studio. Remember that this is just a general listing. In some cases the type of shoe requirement will be discussed by the teacher on the first or second day of class. Please be sure to mark student's name in all dance shoes. If you have any questions regarding these dance and gymnastics dress requirements, please call the studio office.
All students are required to leotard and tights
Please - No PJ bottoms, jeans, sweats, or over-sized T-Shirts and sweat shirts are permitted in any of our classes.

Spring Dance Production
Our studio features all of our students in a Spring musical and dance production at Veterans Memorial Auditorium every May. Most classes will only perform on one of the dates and times. The date your class will perform will not be decided until sometime in late February or early March.
Drop Policy
Students who wish to withdraw from a class are required to fill out a Drop Form. This form is located here or in the studio office and must be turned in to the studio office. Withdraws must be done on or before the 15th of the month in order to only pay for the classes taken that month. Forms received after the 15th of the month will be charged an entire month’s tuition. This is not for students changing classes, only for students dropping a class entirely. Any changes made to a student’s schedule must still be reported to the office in order to have their name on the roster (this includes changing days, times, etc).
Costumes
All classes require only one costume for this performance. A $75.00 deposit for all dance & tumbling costumes is due in November (see the calendar for specific dates). You will be informed in March if there is any balance due on your costume ensemble. This price includes all accessories, tights, shoe bows, props, etc. There is no refund for cancelled costumes, since they are ordered right away.
Because December is a stressful time for most people's budget, you may wish to begin making costume payments or installments at this time. Please mark all checks and cash payments accordingly, so that the proper credit is given to your account.
All costume deposits, including students with multiple costumes must be paid by the due date. Most companies cannot promise delivery in time for our production if not ordered by December.
Recital Fee
In lieu of ticket sales the studio charges a recital fee and issues unlimited invitations for you to give to your guests, as well as 2 complimentary programs. Therefore, in the month of May, all dance families (number of students in a family participating is unlimited) participating in the production must pay a $68.00 recital fee per family. This fee helps to pay for the rental of Veterans Memorial Auditorium for the dress rehearsal dates, all recital dates, the professional stage crew for those times, the scenery, special lighting, and other numerous costs needed to give our show the professional appeal it has always been known for. No tickets are needed for the performance by parents or guests. The studio issues invitations to you and you may have as many as you would like for yourself and your guests.
Participation in our production is not mandatory for any student; however, we do encourage participation. We feel it is a positive, rewarding, and fun time for the students.
Class Observation Days
For the safety of all our students and to provide the best learning environment, weekly classes are closed to visitors. We do hold visiting days for parents at scheduled times throughout the dance year. On those days, you are invited to observe your child during the entire lesson time. Those dates and times are listed under Calendar of Events. Please feel free however, to check on your child's progress at any time throughout the year.

Winter Weather Policy
If the Gahanna-Jefferson School District is closed due to inclement weather (i.e. snow, ice, bitter cold, etc.) the studio will be closed on that day, even if weather conditions improve during the afternoon and evening hours. This same policy applies when school is dismissed before regular dismissal times due to bad weather. If any of the above conditions arise after regular school hours, or on a Saturday, please call the studio before attempting the trip.
